might as well do a little exercise to keep the posting gears going ♥

1. What is your favorite childhood memory?
I don't have anything super specific, ngl, but anything I can remember involving either of my grandfathers is precious to me. Both of them died before I was 10. I did use to play this 'game' with my mom's dad where every school day in the morning I would go to his bedroom where he would be "sleeping" in bed and I would have to wake him up with a kiss like he was sleeping beauty or something. I don't know why this started, and at the time it made me indescribably happy for whatever reason. In retrospect, knowing he was always fully clothed beneath the covers and also that the man was a farmer, he was obviously awake. He pretended to be asleep so I could wake him up. I don't know; it still makes me happy to think about because it was such a simple thing that made both of us happy. (Also I was probably like five at the time so "made my grandchild weirdly happy" was probably motivation enough for him.)
2. If you could be reincarnated as anything besides human, who would you want to be?
Let me be a cat and sleep all the sleep I've lost over the past 30 years please.
3. If you had to start your life all over, what are three things you would change?
1: start a savings with that first job when I was 16 and literally had 0 bills
2: truly commit to the "you can study whatever you want" mantra from my parents and actually finish school
3: avoid the accidents; if it turns out this is unavoidable... keep the settlement, forget about the grifters at that chiro office
4. If you had to forget everything in your life, except one thing, what would it be?
My cat, Tamago. I guess I could come up with something way more profound, but honestly? I have a bond with her I've never had with any other animal that's been in my life.
5. Do you have a lucky charm?
Sort of. There's a necklace I bought ages ago that became something I just kept on my rearview mirror instead of wearing. The pendant is metal in the shape of 運 -- for fortune, or luck. It's been in my various vehicles and, imo, has kept me safe through many situations.
